Charing Cross Breads are fresh, natural, handmade artisan
style breads made on Dudley Peninsula. Our bread baking
follows a simple, no nonsense tradition of baking honest
breads using traditional methods. These are breads from
our past, when time was taken over simple everyday things.
They have strength and substance with chewier darker crusts,
a lovely burnished quality and characteristics that reflect
handmade bread.
Charing Cross Breads are always made from natural ingredients,
allowed to rise and build slowly. They will never include
industrially formulated bread improvers or synthetic trans-fats.
Most of the products we use are certified organic. We can
establish the origin and integrity of all products we bake
with.

Good Food Kangaroo Island is an industry group
formed to encourage and support value adding producers and
protect the integrity of the Island’s produce. Regional
food groups have been established throughout South Australia
and are actively working with producers to establish regional
branding and long term relationships with major retailers
seeking access to high quality, branded products.
