Kangaroo Island Bakery is a wholesale bakery based at Dauncey
Street on Kangaroo Island. We sell a wide variety of products
from bread, rolls, cakes, pies and specialty breads.
Our products include hi top loaves, white bread, wholemeal
bread, multigrain bread, oatbran bread, turkish bread, sour
dough, rye bread and our own white and wholemeal bread (50/50
bread). We also have foccacia rolls and large foccacia (capsicum,
bacon, olive and sundried tomato). We have a wide range
of hot food: plain pies, chunky beef, pepper, curry, chicken,
savoury, potato, egg and bacon, steak and mushroom, feta
and spinach triangles, chicken and mushroom triangles, pasties,
cheese, cornish and vegetable, sausage rolls, cheese sausage
rolls, and quiches.
Exclusive to K.I. Bakery is also our Australian fruit loaf.
Cakes include finger buns, kitcheners and honey logs, apple
and apricot turnovers, donuts, éclairs, cheese cake,
rock buns, kisses, vanilla squares, scrolls and we also
do birthday and special occasion cakes, blackforest is our
specialty.
We supply to all parts of the island from one end to the
other and a few of our products are distributed in Adelaide.
Our unique products are 50/50 bread, Australian fruit loaves,
date and nut logs, bienenstich, hot cross buns and pies.
We are more than willing to develop new products should
our customers ask.
Good Food Kangaroo Island is an industry group
formed to encourage and support value adding producers and
protect the integrity of the Island’s produce. Regional
food groups have been established throughout South Australia
and are actively working with producers to establish regional
branding and long term relationships with major retailers
seeking access to high quality, branded products.
